Herja is a beautiful copper colored barley wine, brewed on Danish Barley, Galaxy and Amarillo hops and Danish mead aged in used sherry barrels. Flavors of red berries, rich malt and citrus. The sea buckthorn completes the taste and results in a perfectly balanced beer.

Bottle, 75cl corked. A hazy brown beer with a dense beige head. The aroma is a nice blend of red sour berries, caramel, some honey, flowers, grass and some cellar. It’s full bodied, with some warmth and a pleasant carbonation level. Caramel, berries, cellar, honey, orange flowers and a grassy touch. Lasting finish. A bit messy this one, but it’s sure interesting in many ways. 170204
