An American style imperial IPA brewed with Citra, Simcoe, Columbus, Cascade and Mosaic hops. Hardcore Chimera is then dry hopped with over a pound of hops per BBL. Ringing in with over 80 IBU’s, Hardcore Chimera’s intense aroma and flavor of passion fruit and citrus is balanced out against a hearty grain bill that lends to the beer’s deceptively drinkable 9% ABV.

Tap @ Fairbar. Nice head with good suration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are citrus, pine, fruits, hops and malt. Nice fruity and bitter finish.

Draught @ Fairbar. Pours Dark golden with an offwhite head. Aroma of malt, yeast, grass, fruity hops, light citrus. Flavor is light sweet, rather bitter, malty, grassy, fruity hops, berries. Medium to full body, average to high carbonation, light bitter finish with some alcohol warmth. 061016

Burk restaurant Wilhelmshill. Ljusgul grumlig lovar gott. Doftar hav och äpplen. Omedelbart en krämig känsla i munnen. Smak kommer äpple sen lite apelsin sen kommer godis. Vilken godis? Jo du skumbananen är tydlig som Faan. Riktigt god fyllig kanske något söt Dipa.

Can from Flask. Hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and moderate hoppy - old hops and grapefruit. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Dry and rather bitter finish. 060916

can - Pours lightly hazy gold with a one finger head. It smells of resinous, citrusy hops. The flavor is high on the bitterness as expected. Citrus, caramel malt and a medium to full body. It’s very good.

1 pint can from Alko. Poured amber in color with a thin but lasting white head. Low carbonation. Herbal, leafy hops, feels slightly old. Caramelly sweetness. Sweet tropical fruity aroma, sweetness, herbal hops. Pretty tasty still, good drinkability.
