Nestled in the shadow of the Rockies and tucked into rolling plains of shortgrass prairie sits Pasture 15, an ecological research site one of our brewers used to call their office. At Wren House Brewing, experimentation is at the heart of what we do, and in the spirit of its namesake, this beer is no exception. Columbus Cryo and Cashmere in a dual temp whirlpool yield a touch of grapefruit bitterness, balanced by rich dried apricot and lemon zest while an abundance of flaked wheat and oats in the grist delivers a pillowy mouthfeel with low residual sweetness. A dual stage dry hop of Columbus Cryo and Comet from @billgoathopfarm deliver notes of undeniably fresh ruby grapefruit, ripe honeydew melon followed by a hint of cannabis and sagebrush dankness.
