Can shared during RBESG 2014 opening dinner - CBC Clapham. Pours clear yellow with a bubbly white head. Papery stuff with light rubber notes, simple sugars, hay. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Faint bitter hay on the finish with cereal and further restrained paper. Meh.

Can @ RBESG Aug 14 CBC Clapham, thanks to Benzai. Pours light yellow, sweetcorn aroma. Sweet and grainy pilsner taste, some straw, not undrinkable but was never going to be a highlight of the tasting.

RBESG pt 1. Craft Clapham. Can courtesy of Rene. Very light haze on this pale gold beer, small white head. Sweet pale malts, very.sweet. Superlight citric hop. Touch of paper. Light finish. If this was ice cold, probably perfectly quaffable but more by accident than design.

Can.... It pours pale gold with a small white head. The nose is distant sweet smell....sort of grainy, grass, paper and corn. The taste is crisp, paper, sweet corny goodness, grain and dull bitterness with a dry finish. Lightish body and fine carbonation. Pretty much what I expected... Corny....yuck.

Pale golden coloured body with a sliver of a white head. Aroma of rice, corn, grain and metal - not much and what is - isn’t too pleasant. Light-bodied; Strong rice and corn flavours with some caster sugar and a hint of metal at the finish - nothing too strong, but a little sweet at the end seemingly from corn, actually. Aftertaste is sweet with only a little grain flavour and some cardboard noticeable. Overall, a decent offering that has the same alcohol as all other Indonesian beers of course, but shows decent compared to the other pale lagers. I sampled this 620 mL bottle purchased next door at Circle K in Kerobokan, Bali, Indonesia on 28-June-2014 for IDR27,000, only 500IDR more expensive than a 330 cL can of Guinness - easily worthwhile.

0,33 boks (takk til Hans!), på Holmens aktivitetsdag mars-14: faktisk litt humlearoma og en lett syrlig bitterhet i smaken. Liten munnfylde, kort skum, kort ettersmak. Forsåvidt ikke noe feil, men der er bare så lite av alle viktige elementer. Lett å glemme, men fint med et nytt land.

New Beer Distributors, NY 11.2 oz ($2): Pours clear gold with barely any head. Aroma is vegetables and grain. Taste is almost extant. I get mostly green bottle though. Quite smooth. Slightly sweet. Easily drinkable, but not really enjoyable. Possibly this is more palatable because I am already buzzed, and it’s a Friday night.
