Tart and a bit stuffy with some jammy cherries and mild sourness, hints of earthiness and vinous grapes.

Small pinkish rim over deep purple beer. Deep vinous nose with dark berries, old oakwood, pepper, beeswax. Very vinous flavours with a lot of lactic acid, and no doubt quite some bretts. Red wine, fruitwine. Lipsmacking acidity, certain slickness for such a beer - grapeseed oil? Very good, if not a patch on the Hannibal Lecter.
