Brazenly bitter. Dashingly dry-hopped. Raja is an audacious addition to our lengthy lineage of intrepid IPA’s. Hops for all! All for hops!

On tap at Caliente. Pours a hazy yellow with medium white head leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is pine and resin. Medium body, juicy hop, citrus, dank, lingering bitterness, very good.

I can’t believe I haven’t rated this one before, shame on me. Chillhazy golden yellow color. Tropical fruit aroma. Taste is bittersweet summer fruit, nicely balanced.

12oz can on 5th May 2016. Really liked the hop bitterness. Clear and clean golden pour, full head that lasted. Hops all the way here and there are plenty in each sip. Gives the West Coast breweries a run for their money in the over hopping contest.

12 oz. can, pours a cloudy golden with a medium white head. Aroma is fairly pungent, with lots of resinous and citrus hops, backed by caramel malts. Flavour is balanced well, with resinous hops and caramel bready malt to back. Not especially complex, but it works reasonably well. Moderate residual sweetness. Good stuff.

Poured from can dated 12/10/15 light golden color with a nice thin white head. Aromas of tropical fruit floral notes and faint hop. Taste is sweet somewhat malty notes of caramel faint citrus and a mild bitterness. Might have been better fresh.

Can poured to pint glass. Pale, thin, clean yellow. Honestly, I saw this on the shelf and grabbed it thinking it was Maharaja in a can. Hope they didn’t play on the name. It definitely is not the same. More bitter, citrus. Not disappointed. I like the Maharaja more but this is also a good beer.
