Original review text: 0,33L bottle (from Tallinna Kaubamaja). Pours clear dark golden with small off-white head. The head doesn’t stay. Aroma is malt, caramel, burnt sugar, metallic. Flavor is sweet, malt, caramel, burnt sugar, some bitterness, very noticeable alcohol. Carbonation is high. Taste: Dark malt, caramel, light alcohol. Light sweetness.

Bouteille 50cl, merci Thomas. BB 08/2016. Ambrée-cuivrée, col beige. Arôme au nez malté, sucre grillé, voire biscuité, fruité noir rappelable la date et raisin sec. Un peu oxydée. Palais est malté, caramel Munich, fruité noir avec un profil oxydé bcp plus présent, Dunkel biscuitée, amertume noble des houblons avec un fini savonneux. Industriel sans grande inspiration.

Appena stappata la bottiglia arrivano sentori di caramello, poi dal bicchiere quelli di orzo e luppolo. L’intensità olfattiva è elevata e la persistenza olfattiva è sufficiente. La schiuma a bollicine fini e media carbonazione ha una discreta resistenza con pizzo finale sul vetro. La frizzantezza di bollicine fini è abbondante, vivace, persistente e insistita. E’ un liquido limpido dal colore ambrato carico tendente rossiccio, praticamente somigliante al colore del whisky. Il corpo è rotondo, con un amaro deciso e accenno di umami. L’intensità gustativa è normale e la persistenza gustativa è buona. L’aroma ricorda caramello, pane e frutta secca. Il senso di tannico, etilico e alcol presente non invadente chiudono il finale, amarognolo.

Gift bottle from a friend at home, ruby/amber coloured beer, small head, aroma is malt, caramel and nutty, taste is malt, caramel with a balanced amount of sweetness. nice one.

Bottled 500ml. -from Area 12 Torino. Clear amber coloured, medium sized creamy pale beige head, mild malty nutty nose. Toasted malt, caramel, slight nutty and notes of dog food with rather sweet finish. Bottle, 0.50l. Clear deep amber color with medium soapy light brown head and average sparkling appearance. Aroma of caramel, cereals and grass. Taste starts with sweet caramel, follows grassy with moderate bitter finish. Medium body, slick texture and average carbonation in palate. Not bad at all...
