Samuel Adams® Cream Stout is a true cream stout, balancing body and sweetness with the natural spiciness of grain and hand selected English hops. Our Brewers use generous portions of roasted chocolate and caramel malts as well as unroasted barley to impart a fullness of body, a roasty malt character and rich, creamy head. Its dark mahogany color make it almost as easy on the eyes as it is on the palate.

Bottle. Pours dark brown-black with beige-brownish head. The head stays. Aroma is roast, dark chocolate, oats. Flavor is sweet and bitter, roast, dark chocolate, malt, oats. Finish is roast bitter and slightly acidic. Overall: very nice and flavorful.

Pours a black from a bottle, aroma of chocolate and coffee. Flavor similar, with that sour milk flavor of a milk stout. Thin as a milk stout always is. Meh.

Bottle at home, Dark ruby red beer with a medium head. Aroma is chocolate milk, Taste is malt, chocolate, coffee. Bit creamy but not as much as i hoped. Good beer.

Bottle @ home. Opaque brown color (although I was sitting in a semi-dark room so couldn’t tell exactly), full sized brown head that lasts for a decent while. Aroma is malts, sweet malts, roast, caramel, brown malts, lightly vanilla, a hint of chocolate. Taste malts, dark malts, lightly roast, vanilla, chocolate, slightly ashy bitter in the finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Not exactly what I really like, but very well brewed.

Sehr dunkelbraune Farbe, ordentliche beige Schaumkrone. Geruch süß röstmalzig, Malzbonbons, wenig Kaffee und Schokolade. Geschmack süß röstmalzig, viel Karamell, Toffee, Vanille, wenig Kaffee.

355ml bottle. Quasi black colour with mahogany glimmer, average to huge, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Sweet-ish, dark malty aroma, hints of malt lozenge, some roast. Taste is slightly roasty dark malty, some dark malty sweetness as well, malt lozenge. Nice balance of sweet and roasty-spicy maltiness.
