It’s always darkest before the dawn.

For International Women’s Day 2024, the women of Cabin joined forces with folks from Country Malt Group, Ale Architect Brewery and Bent Stick Brewing to brew something very tasty indeed.

Daybreak Cascadian Dark Ale pours a gorgeous obsidian black. It boasts roasty notes of chocolate, coffee and biscuit from the specialty dark malts, and a delectable light toastiness from the lightly kilned base malt. The Pink Boots hop blend imparts a bright citrus and floral kick to balance the malt, culminating in an exquisite melange of aromas that showcase both hops, and malt, equally.

With every glass raised, we toast to the woman who have faced the darkness head-on, who have fought for their voices to be heard, and who continue to inspire us all to shine brighter, even in the darkest of moments.

From the women of Cabin (and friends) to you - cheers!

473ml can. Pours a clear dark brown, almost black with red hue and a medium, foamy, long lasting, beige head that leaves soapy curtains of lace. Aroma of toasted bready malt, dark chocolate, coffee and floral hops. Sweet flavour of roasted malt, grapefruit, dark chocolate and pine resin in a dry, bitter finish. Medium body with a creamy, smooth, oily texture and average carbonation. Tasty.
