Hells is the lovechild of our two favourite German beer styles - Helles and Pilsner. Clean, crisp and dry, it’s the beer we always wanted to drink and the reason we started our brewery. We hope you agree.

Not as good as any german helles. A little too bitter. Okay otherwise. Pint shop birmingham. (3.1 feb 2020) Beer adventkal 2021 from bier company. Better, not too bitter.

Tight bubbly white head stayed on a clear pale lemon coloured still body. Grain, grass & pale malt aroma. Medium bodied, soft on the palate with a lightly carbonated back. Lightly fruited, pale malt, grain, grass, cereal & earthy tastes. Clean & Refreshing

Had about 100 of these on flight from Manchester to Orlando. Not bad for passing 9 hours of flight time. Very light yellow and frothy white head. Nose is grains and dust hint of citrus. Tastesbsimilar. Very thin and watery. But any more substantive and I’d of been hurting today. B

In de tuin, na daarin gewerkt te hebben, uit een flesje. Bleek gele kleur, geen schuim. Waterige smaak, absoluut niet bijzonder.

Keg at Southampton Arms. Rating is for the unfiltered version: Cloudy yellow with no head and some nice bits floating around in it! Quite a weak looking colour. Low carbonation and aroma cereal malty, wheat, bit barnyard/hay bale. Taste is slightly creamy and very nice. No bitterness. Towards the end it tasted much more lagery, but still nice. Now have finally had the filtered version and it is still nice, but not quite as interesting or tasty. --- Beer merged from original tick of Camden Town Camden Hells Lager on 09 Sep 2019 at 16:06 - Score: Appearance - 4 | Aroma - 8 | Flavor - 8 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 7. On tap at a hotel. Pours gold. Clean, slightly fruity, touch of sulfur, touch of noble hop stuff. Medium body. Good.

Tap. Clear yellow color with white head. Aroma is slightly sulphury, grainy, some herbal hops. Taste is grainy, herbal hops, a touch cardboard, authentically Export flavours in there. Herbal hop finish. Silky mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Quite authentic, this could be from Germany.
