Hells is the lovechild of our two favourite German beer styles - Helles and Pilsner. Clean, crisp and dry, it’s the beer we always wanted to drink and the reason we started our brewery. We hope you agree.

Pint in the local pub, clear yellow pour with a very small head. Lightly carbonated with a hint of citrus. Expected flavours for a lager with a bit of sweetness (cake?). Crisp finish. Quite sessionable.

330ml bottle BBE December 2020. Pours a hazy light pale yellow, looks watery, not much head. Aroma of grains, spice and a hint of citrus. Medium-high carbonation and quite frothy texture on the palate. Taste of malt, cereal and a dry finish. Slightly hoppy aftertaste. Not high in sweetness or bitterness. Its OK.
