Using our flagship ale as a base, we put an even more nostalgic twist on our style-defining brew; simulating your favorite childhood classic. The only difference? You don’t have to chase down the ice cream man. Cali Creamsicle features hints of vanilla and a distinct citrus cream flavor that finishes slightly sweeter than it’s Cream Ale counterpart. Just as refreshing, just as iconic.

Draught @ Cannery Row Brewing, Monterey, CA on 4/16/19. Clear golden with creamy white head, sweet vanilla aroma, low carbonation, sweet malt taste with strong vanilla flavor, thin body, long finish. A bit too strong in flavor.

Sample on draft at Hugo's this beer poured a golden color with a large foamy white head that left good lacing. The aroma was vanilla cream and a bit of yeast. The flavor was vanilla cream, faint astringency, a bit of grain and yeast. Long vanilla cream finish. Medium body.

13/IV/19 - 33cl can, shared @ LOC Brewery (Tilburg, NL), Roadburn tasting session, BB: n/a, canned: XII/21/18 - (2019-478)
Clear orange beer, small creamy off-white head, little stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: oh the vanilla in this one! Way over the top! :p Sweetish impression. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: you'll never guess, all vanilla, sweet and sugary, caramel, bit sourish, more vanilla and some caramel. Aftertaste: soft bitterness, and, well, vanilla again.

Very strong vanilla smell. Malty extract overwhelms. Nothing appealing for me about this

Tap at Hair of the Dog, Phrom Phong, Bangkok. Poured a clear golden colour with a thin white head. The aroma is malt, milky lactose, wheaty, vanilla. The flavour is moderate bitter light sweet with a smooth, grainy, honey, vanilla, light woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Rather nice but might become a little sickly after a while.

Golden color, white head with short to médium retention. Aroma is malty, bready, sweet malts. Flavor is quite similar as aroma, sweet malts with hints of vanilla beans. Light sweet final, mostly marzipan, malty notes. Creamy mouthfeel.
