It's here! Fukiphīno started as an April Fool's joke, but has evolved into a wicked 9% ABV double IPA!
This beer is juicy AF, and despite what the fearsome "Octophant" on the label suggests, it's a little bit sweet. Big citrus notes of tangerine, pink grapefruit, and lime mingle with shades of sweet pineapple, creamy peach oatmeal, and hints of rosemary, honey and coconut. Brewed with El Dorado, Motueka, ldaho 7, and Citra hops.
Fukiphīno is medium bodied with a gentle bite of hop bitterness.
Label art is an original watercolor by the multi-talented Chris Harlin, our downtown brewer.

On tap at Mountains Brew Fest. Cloudy golden pour, small white head. Full fruity aroma, hoppy, floral. Taste pops with ripe fruit, melon, mango and a little citrus. Full bodied, bursting with flavor.

On tap at Mountains Brew Fest, pours out hazy golden topped with a white head. Nose is great big pine citrus hops sweet mango over ripe fruit. Taste is more of the nice sweet over ripe citrus mango wow.

Can that Liz brought back from the brewery. Pours hazy gold with a large foamy white head. Aroma is earthy, zesty, citrus. Med body or so. Flavor is juicy, not quite dry. Decently bitter. NEIPA IMHO. Flavor is zesty, pomelo, earth, citrus, arguably some green melon, pine. Very good flavor.

500ml bottle picked up at the brewery. Pours hazy orange with a medium sized frothy off-white head, good lacing. Citrus, tropical, oranges, grapefruit, pine. A great beer with a great name and story behind it.
