Bottle (from Õllepood nr 1, Tartu). Pours dark ruby with beige head. The head doesn’t stay. Aroma is sweet, roast, malt. Flavor is sweet, malty, bready, roast. Overall: ok.

50cl bottle as a gift from H. bought at Valmiermui?as alus, Valmiermui?a, Latvia. Pours very dark brown with a slightly reddish hue and a modest beige head. Malty aroma with mild roasty notes, dark chocolate, caramel and hints of dark fruits. Medium sweet and fairly malty with pleasant chocolate flavours and a very mild bitterness. Tasty and easy to drink. Pleasant porter.
