After tasting through our rackhouse of spirits barrel-aged beers, we selected a complex blend that evolves as you drink. Rackhouse Reserve incorporates ales aged in a variety of bourbon barrels for up to 18 months, culminating in a harmony of warm flavors reminiscent of caramel, toasted marshmallow, spicy oak and dark chocolate.

Draft pour, 13 oz at Tapped, Mill Creek. Dark cola brown pour, quick fading head. Really inviting aroma with oak, whiskey, charred barrel, soft dark fruit and spice. Very layered. Thick body, dark fruit, toasty constant, dry oak. Barrel notes are dominant, but sp well executed that they can stay. Surprisingly smooth taste here. Long lasting caramel and whiskey note. Bummed I haven't tried any previous vintages of this one. Incredible brew.

500ml bottle pours out dark brown almost black topped with a tan head. Nose is nice sweet chocolate roast caramel some bourbon barrel vanilla marshmallow. Taste is more of the nice sweet chocolate roast malts bourbon barrel vanilla.
