Overland IPA is about enjoying the journey, where our spirit of adventure brings us closer to nature. It is a modern West Coast IPA, perfect to enjoy by the fire at the end of a long day. Golden in color, with notes of citrus and dank pine, and a clean, bitter finish. The can art depicts a charging bison, once a decisive indicator of the health of the Western prairie.

Can to becher glass.
Appearance: semi-murky golden amber color with a sly transparency near the sides of the glass with a two and a half fingers of white foamy head which slid off at a decent pace; light lace
Aroma: huge amounts of piney hops flowing over some citrusy hops and blending with a clean caramel/toffee malty underneath
Flavor: blends all the prior noted aromas up to a nice bittersweet meshing then has a mild citrusy & malty aftertaste
Texture: light to medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it; finishes semi-crisp with the piney hops and caramel/toffee malts
Overall: I'd say a nicely done WC styled IPA I would be willing to come back to.

12 oz. can, pours a clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma has some earthy, lightly sweaty hops, gentle citrus, a little pine. Flavour is fairly generic, with citrusy hops, a touch of pine, light sweatiness, and a bready malt base. Very standard, not particularly expressive or vibrant, but reasonably structured.

355mL can. Pours clear gold with a white head. Pine, orange citrus, and sweet malts on the nose. Flavour has woody pine, citrus rinds, and chewy biscuit malts. Decent carbonation. Not bad.

Tap at the brewpub in Portland. Pours olde gold with white head that sustains. Cirtus aroma and flavor. Nice and crisp, with solid bready backing.

12oz can from New Colony. Deep golden pour, clear, filmy head, lacing. Malty aroma, bready, faint citrusy notes. Taste is malty forward, while grain bread, hops appear in a minor supporting role with citrus. Dry finish. A very mellow IPA.
