Cask at the Euston Tap - London. Pours clear, yellow-gold with a tight, frothy white head. The nose has citrusy hops, hay, pale malts. Light sweet flavor with nicely balanced citrusy hops, some tangerine, melon, lemon rind. Light bodied with ine carbonation; great condition. Well balanced on the finish with more lemon and tangerine, mild bitter hay and grass, pale bread sweetness. Great stuff.

500ml bottle: BBD 21 Dec 14.Poured into an Abbot Ale glass tankard at home on 5 Sep 14. Slight haze to the golden body, full, deep white head. Sour citrus flavours in both the nose and taste. Mild yeastiness and piney hops with those citrus flavours in the mouth. Decent, but a bit too citrusy for me.

Review according to BJCP2008 guidelines (style 6B). Bottle 500ml - batch n ?). AROMA: low malt aroma with a nice, intense floral and fruits (passion fruit) aroma. APPEARANCE: medium gold color. a bit hazy. white head with fair retention. TASTE: very slight malt flavour with the presence of esters and floral flavours. high bitterness for a golden/blond ale that lingers towards the end. balance towards hop bitterness. finishes dry. PALATE: medium-light body with high carbonation. OVERALL: a very bitter blond ale that resembles more an IPA.
