500ml bottle. Opened two weeks after the best by date, solid for $2.49 a bottle. Hazy orange-yellow body. Foamy white heat laces up the glass. Kind of an odd aroma, some buttery tones I’m not really enjoying. Medium bodied, somewhat similar to a Session IPA with the grapefruit hops. There is some fishy rancid action going on unfortunately. I hope the other Celt beers are better than this, and that this is better fresh.

Bottle. Gold with an inch of white head. Aroma is floral with herbal lemon, honey. Sweet with hay and honey, quite earthy and little dusty, pithy citrus, a little pine, lingering rather bitter finish. Has a lot of presence for 4.2%. [3.5]For a Welsh beer this is a real citrusy hop bomb. Almost too much bitterness. Label redesign is great.

Bottle from Malt & Vine. (BB 01.29.2014) Pours translucent gold with a slight white head. Aroma is mild citrus. Med minus body. Flavor is bready and citrus. In Koln it might pass as a Kolsch. Finishes mildly flavored.

Bottle @Γ•llesummeri, Tallinn
Clear copper color, good off-white head. Leafy, resiny aroma. Light to medium bodied. Resiny, some caramel. Nice for this ABV. Good malt profile.

Cask@GBBF. (staff cask?) Golden color, small white head. Grassy, cut wood aroma. Woody, pear fruity flavor, which is also harsh. Dry aftertaste. Kind of unbalanced.

Bottle. Pours hazy light amber with creamy white head with nice lacing. Aroma is orange, caramel, malt, spruce, cookies, butter, almond shortcrust pastry, lime, gouda cheese. Taste is medium bitter, light acidic and faint sweet. Body is oily with fizzy carbonation. Finish is long and bitter with notes of bitter (red) grapefruit, caramel, malt, milk and spruce.

Bottle at the GJBF 2013 Osaka. Kind of a musty aroma and a clear gold color with a thin white head. Much more bitter than the Taybeh golden ale. It was ok but nothing to write home about.
