Pours a slightly hazy golden colour with an amber hue. Beautiful creamy big off-white head that stays a long time and results in great foamy lacing. Great sweet malty nose that gives out fruitiness well-balanced with some hoppy notes and honey. The taste is not as hoppy as the aromas give out to be. Grainy bread, malty with a little honey and just enough hop to create a little bitterness and grass in the finish. Good creamy mouthfeel that eventually becomes a bit more oily and watery. A pretty damn good session brew.

Bottle: Poured a clean golden color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some light lacing. Aroma of medium sweet malt and some light floral undertones. Taste is a nice enough mix between some semi-sweet malt notes with some light floral notes. Clean cereal notes are pleasant but not earth shattering. Body is average with good carbonation. Quaffable and clean with limited complexity.

Bottle @ Home. Pours golden with a white head. Aroma of malt, light caramel, fruit. Taste is bready malt, caramel, green apples, citrussly hops. Thin, allmost watery body, soft carbonation. 140911

Bottled. An amber beer with a lazing off-white head. The aroma has notes of elderflowers, malt, and a bit of caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes malt, elderflowers, and a bit of caramel, leading to a dry finish.

Bottled@The 2nd ES/CS Beer Tasting. (thanks DB!) Slightly hazy orange colour, mediumsized foamy slightly off-white head. Aroma is bready malts, mild caramel, toffee, some zest and mild floral notes. Flavour is zesty, fruity, quite sweet malty and mildly nectary. Nicely balanced golden ale.

Cask@Criterion, Leicester. Bronze beer with a strong head. The aroma is sweetly and smoothly roasted. The flavour is smooth and gently roasted with a grassy bitter finish. Overall a nice gently hopped and roasted beer.

Bottle: Hazy, copper coloured, persistent off-white foamy layer; more than moderate fruity-hoppy nose, backed by sweet toasty malt; moderate dry bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied; fruits and caramel in the dry bitter finish. Nice brew....
