Half cask at Famous Royal Navy Volunteer. Black, thin pour, filmy beige head. Aroma is cocoa and vanilla, Swiss Miss. Taste is sweet, cocoa, marshmallow and a weird minty flavor. Finishes sweet and minty.

On tap at Ebenezers, Crewe. Pours almost black with a small cream head and good lacing. The aroma is sweet with crackers and cream. In the mouth it has a creamy texture and is almost sickly sweet with marshmallows and crackers. Some malts come through later. Finish is again creamy and slightly dry. This is reasonable enough, but definitely in the “gimmicky concoction” category.
