Can. Pours clear yellow, with a creamy head. Light malty notes, with cereals and honey, as well as some zesty hops. All in a medium body, with average carbonation. A pretty generic pale lager.

Can from Marks and Spencer, New Oscott; clear straw yellow pour with a big frothy white head, creamy malt aroma, taste has a hint of citrus, some caramel, bready malts, violent carbs, ok start to a boosting session.

Can at home in London - sourced from the Paddington Station M&S (so, basically right at the brewery). Pours immaculately clear pale gold, lightly effervescent, with an impressively resilient white froth head. The nose holds some lackadaisical grainy pale malts, hints of hay, orange rind, cereal. Light-medium sweet flavor, a little bit crisp, with some pleasant lagery cereal, pale bread, mild bitter hay and straw, impressions of citrus, just suggestions of paper. Light bodied with average carbonation. The finish ain’t bad, just some further dry cereal, other grains, hay. A pretty basic cheap lager but it totally gets the job done. Solid example of the style.

500ml can at home. Good boost anf a a London Tick! Crystal clear pale yellow coloured pour with a lasting frothy white head. Looks ok. Aroma is sweet, corn, light diacetyl that blows of quite quickly, tart apple, rough lager yeast. Flavour is composed of watery light grains, tangy apple, considerable adjunct, rice. Palate is light, bit watery, high carbonation. Lingering tangy apple and grains.

Can from M&S. Aroma vegetal, corn. Clear golden colour, poor head. Taste is dull, corny, vegetal. No pleasant sensation. Lightly astringent finish. Poor.
