GABF 2015. Dark gold color, nice head and well carbonated. It has a ton of coffee, and coffee is really all there is to this beer. I can’t taste or smell anything else, very much cold coffee grounds in the flavor.

12 oz can at jcos' place, 10.29.15. Amber color with some spotty lace. Coffee dominates the aroma with some herbal type notes showing up underneath. Tastes a little different with the coffee still dominant, but not quite as strong as it is in the aroma. Still, very much a tasty coffee beer. Clean and very drinkable. Smooth feel. I like this one.

12 oz can poured into a Spiegelau tulip. Canned on 8/26/2015. Dig the coffee cup style can design. Slightly hazy amber/copper with off-white head. Aromas of coffee, roasted coffee grounds, some malt. Tastes of roasted coffee and slightly burnt coffee grounds, caramel, malt. Medium body with a dry finish.

Can - fizzy explosion all over my counter upon opening - hazy dark copper with substantial lace - nose is highly vegetal - smells like green peppers, raw coffee bean, celery, caramel - flavor is a little better - vegetal character is still there, but is minimal - taste of coffee bean, caramel, moderate fruitiness, a little spiciness and grassy hops - finish of dough and lingering spiciness - actually tastes pretty okay as it opens up, but the vegetal character persists in the nose, and a light sourness in the aroma develops as well - early stages of an infection?
