(Bottle, 0.33 l, at One Pint Pub, 20161203) The beer poured black. Its head was small and lightly brown. Aroma had burnt malts, vanilla, marmalade and booze. Palate was full bodied and oily with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, ash, sweetness, liquorice and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet, burnt, boozy and bitter. A messy strong burnt brew in which the alcohol pushed through too much.

33cl bottle @Olutexpo 2016. Pours black color with a thin brown head. Roasted malt, molasses, licorice, molasses. Oily feel to it. Well if the doubled everything, I understand. Licorice, roastedness, tobacco, molasses. Too sweet for me.

Sample from the bottle at Olutexpo 2016, Helsinki. Colour is almost black with small brownish head. Aromas and flavors: Licorice, some coffee, sweetness, some chocolate and roasted malts. Nice soft bready maltiness. Maybe too sweet but very good drinkability with lingering aroma. Very strong flavours.
