Bottle. Clean amber with a thin head. Aroma is nutty biscuit. Flavour is bready malt, a little spice in a dry malt finish.

Keg @ The Oarsman, Carrick-On-Shannon [030414]
Dark amber, clear, streaming carbonation, slightly off white fizzy head
Aroma - Little on nose, as it warms up some soft sweet caramel malts
Taste of soft caramel, slight caramelized orange, slight barley sugar, slight bitter hop, touch of biscuit, very little hops in this, as it warmed up a bit more flavour came out but seemed to be lacking in flavour overall
Palate - Moderate carb, light to medium body, little oily, quite smooth, slight sweet palate, little tangy, clean. Finish has a slight bitterness in the linger.
Overall - It seems to be brewed as a conversion beer for people used to drinking the macro stuff (which is understandable as the availability of craft beer in this area is rather minimal). It’s just too attenuated overall for a regular craft beer drinker.
