Bottle. Nutmeg, cinnamon and malt aroma. Cloudy brown color with minimal head. Lightly sweet cinnamon/nutmeg and light malt flavor. Mild bitter finish. Not bad - gives you what it says.

Modest head, decent brown colour. Has a bready, plasticky aroma where alcohol and hops collide at just the wrong angle. Taste is heavy syrup with malt notes, sweetness. Not bad, rather uninteresting.

Hazy light mahogany with a medium off white head. Spicy nose with roasted malt and caramel. Flavor had loads of cardemum, cinnamon and roasted malt. Medicine like to be honest. To spicy.

From l’Epicerie, Le Bon Marché, Paris
Mahogany color; creamy head. The aroma shows initially some yeast, then cinnamon ginger and cloves, then nuts. Medium bodied, dark caramel flavor, with some spices; the final is quite bitter and dry. You gotta love the style...

Bottle, 5.8%. Fruity and yeasty aroma. A little sweet aroma, slightly spicy. Cloudy dark red brown colour. Very small head. Bubbly carbonation. The flavour is nicely sweet with a good spicy note. A little like cookie spices, perhaps some sweet cardamum. Surprisingly good.
