A traditional Doppelbock fermented with an old world yeast. Reddish brown in color with a mild hop profile, Consecrator is a well-balanced, full-bodied lager with hints of caramel and molasses in its smooth, malty finish after spending 3 months maturing in our fermentation tanks.

Nice fizzy-creamy longlasting head. Aroma is kind of grainy, minerals, weeds, dried grain, wet cardboard, alcohol, cereal, paper, sawdust. Taste is slightly dry mineraly, weeds, caramel malts, grass, alcohol, raisins, "knekk", bark, licorice, candi sugar. Medium bitterness, slightly dry mineraly mouthfeel. Nice flavors, not so nice aroma...

Bottle from Mikkeller Webshop. Pours reddish brown with quickly disappearing off white head. Aroma of caramel, redcurrant, bit of metal and raisin. Taste is dried fruit, raisins, bit of caramel and nuts. Slightly dry and bitter finish.

Flaska fråm Mikkellers webshop. Smak och doft av torkad frukt, plommon, karamell, brunt socker, bröd med toner av lakrits och russin. Rund och len, fruktig, fin maltsötma, rejäl kropp, god balans. Gott!

Bottled 355ml. -from Vrutak Zagreb. Deep amber coloured with red glare, small off-white head that went away fast, dried fruits and caramel in the nose. Sweet malty, caramel, dried fruits, light nutty and fruity hoppy with mild malty finish. No trace of alcohol. Pleasant beer.

Flaska fråm Mikkellers webshop. En riktigt rejäl maltbomb till vetebock med den där lätta maltsyrligheten som hör till. Russin, rågbröd, lite bärig och aningen kryddig. Riktigt trevlig.

Clear dark ruby-amber pour with a very thin beige head. Very sweet, with notes of prunes, raisins, caramel. Lacks bitterness, carbonation and the mouthfeel isn’t that great, either. The alcohol is a bit too present in the aftertaste. Overall, not a good beer.

Bottle (in the "how did I miss this" category). Raisin, toffee malt, chalk, and dry grass aroma. Hazy brown with small light tan head. Sweet orange, raisin, toffee malt, and mildly bitter/astringent dry grass flavor - expected it to be much more astringent from the aroma. Nice body.
