0,5l bottle at hotel room in Nitra (partially consumed) and bought at Pivoteka Nitra. BB 07.04.2017. almost black color, small tan head. smells of licorice, veggies, peppery notes, light fruity notes, plums. not a fan of the smell. light body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of licorice, rather peppery, spices, light caramel, breadish. finishes rather peppery with notes of licorice and spicy notes. overall ok, taste is quite a bit better than the smell, but not really a favorite.

Kirkas colanvärinen olut pienellä, nopeasti katoavalla vaahdolla. Tuoksu aika mieto, maltaisen makea ja hieman paahteinen. Maku jatkaa tyypillisellä tshekkilinjalla ollen makean maltainen ja karamellinen, hieman paahteinen ja aavistuksen kahvinen. Ruisleipäinen happamuus johtaa kuivattavaan loppuliukuun. Oikein toimiva kokonaisuus.

Bottle from Beers of Europe, Kings Lynn. Poured a cloudy dark brown colour with a small and short-lasting beige colour head. Aroma is of mild sweet malt with caramel notes. Medium sweetness, light roasted bitterness, light sourness. Average carbonation. Rather watery texture.

Mar ’15. A 0.5 l bottle from a local supermarket. It poured clear brown body with a small head. Sweet caramel and dog food malt aroma, almost flake. Quite sweet flavor, too. A bit harsher roasted malt contributes to the light bitterness. Medium bodied with shorter and lightly bitter burnt caramel finish, yet still sticky. Rather a boring dunkel actually.

Pours dark brown, topped with a fairly small beige colored head. Mild roasty aroma, with some hardly noticeable caramel presence. Taste starts sweet and roasty, some caramel and very gentle bitterness. Not a bad one, though could be a bit better.
