BOTTLE 50 CL. The aroma is grainy, light caramel and dark malts with dark bread crust notes. The flavour is rather dry with more dark malts, spicy hops, whose bitterness is joined by a light caramel sweetness, all making for a smooth velvety dry finish. A simple, but well done sessionable tmavy.

Bottle, 0.50l. Clear dark brown color with medium frothy light brown head and average sparkling appearance. Aroma of caramel, roasted malt, coffee and grassy hops. Taste starts with moderate sweet caramel malt, follows by bready and roasty acidity with medium bitter finish. Medium body, slick texture and average carbonation in palate. Very drinkable dunkel, although a bit too thin on palate...

Decent dark lager, dark nut brown with small tight beige head. Sweet malt aroma, taste again is malt, molasses, some nuttiness. Smoky, burnt taste lingers on the palate.

500ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours dark brown with a thin, short-lived off-white head. Coffee and cream aromas, alongside a metallic note. Some chocolate. Taste has good medium roasted bitterness, and some more creamy sweetness. Good mouthfeel. Enjoyed it well enough.

The new lable is much better I guess. Brown colour, one finger tall frothy head becoming a film then. Aroma of liquorice, caramel, roast, a hint of butter. Light to medium body. The density is exciting looking at the ABV. The mild sweetnes in flavour is blended with medium hoppy bitterness. The finish is hoppy enough and it’s pretty long. Later it grows to the similar aftertaste. Why didn’t I notice the pearl? The revisiting of this stuff is really a surprise.

Dark Brown, Almost No Head, Spotty Lacing. Slight Toasted Aroma. Sweet Toasted Malt, Reminds me of Raisins, Light Toasted Bitter Finish. Rather thin Body, not Syrupy or Cloying. At 4.4% ABV, probably the lightest dark beer ever. Therefore easily Drinkable, Refreshing and Enjoyable. Its Like Kvass that has some Alcohol. Would like to try it fresh. I’d say pretty good and would like to recommend it but scared to do it. There are no production or best before dates, so you can;t tell if it is fresh or two year old skunky drain pour. Try it at your own risk.

Draught. Dark brown colour with a reddish hue. Cloudy, beige head. Sweet aroma with caramel malts, toasted, nuts, grasses and bread hops. A dark, dried fruits note. Taste is sweet. Medium body, creamy texture, average carbonation. Lightly bitter and fruity finish with butterscotch and a toasted note. Quite enjoyable dark lager.

500ml bottle. Pours a dark brown with a small head. Aroma is nutty caramel with some raisin. Taste has watery caramel to start with a raisin finish and a touch of coffee on the aftertaste.
