Can shared by Dan, thanks.
Sweet caramell taste and aroma with a spicy pepper.
Residual sweetness.

At a tasting , light brown colour aroma of chocolate, vanilla and nuts, candy fruity flavour, quite sour, light bodied, could use some more. Nice and easy but not really a Baltic porter.

Dåse fra Vinbuðin, Akureyri. Sort med lille brunt skum. Dufter mørk med tydelige noter af karamel. Smager ikke så mørk som duften indikerer.

Can from Vinbuðin, Akureyri. Almost black with a beige head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt and chocolate. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet and light bitter finish. A bit weak like most of the beers from this brewery. 140723

Pours deep brown into a snifter. Mocha head with medium retention recedes to hug rim. Licorice and milk chocolate aromas. Medium bodied and dry with dark chocolate, vanilla and dry twigs upfront turning to licorice in the medium length finish.

On tap at Microbar & Brew - Kpavogur, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is full of liquid dark cocoa, and a hint of vanilla. Flavour is full of dark chocolate, a bit of toasted malt, and a hint of vanilla. Unusual for a Baltic porter to have this much chocolate character, but it works really well. On the dry side for the style. Good stuff.
