Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Hazy dark red brown with a beige head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, dark fruit, alcohol and dusty. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet and moderate bitter finish with warming alcohol. 121116

Nice foamy brown, beige head. Aroma very malt-forward, roast and chocolate. sweetish, malty. Also lots of malt sweetness in the taste, black berries, bit of alcohol kick. Finish is chocolaty, full of cocoa. Relatively sweet and not really a saison but still interesting.

Bottle shared. Thanks Raul! Pours a slightly hazy deep brown with a beige foam head that lingers. Chocolate all over the nose with brown sugar, raisin and something that seems very Belgian...maybe the yeast? Well-balanced body that is slightly sweet on the palate with cocoa and dark fruit...almost like an abbey dubbel in some ways. Malty finish that lingers. 33cl bottle from a trade with Douberd, many thanks! Pours hazy orange brown colour with a huge good lasting beige head. Aroma of dark malt, some chocolate, red fruits and wood. Taste of dark roasted malt, spicy red malt, red fruits, wood, some alcohol and a high carbonation.

33cl bottle at Drink Baar, Tallinn. Pours clear, dark mahogany with a beige head. Aroma of dark malt, some chocolate, dark fruits, caramel, red berries and some yeasty notes. Medium sweet with nice roasty flavours, some acidity and a light bitterness. Mild, with warming alcohol and refreshing acididty. A bit unusual, but quite tasty.
