This India Pale Ale (IPA) is brewed as a style pioneered in the Pacific Northwest. It is definitely on the very low end of abv for the IPA category (dare we say we even strayed just outside the norm?). But we wanted something light in body with a moderate alcohol content, yet with that crisp hoppiness of an IPA. We think No Plans nails that.

The focus is a on a bright, clean, and fruity nose and flavour. The use of Sabro hops imparts a unique creamy, tangerine, and coconut character to the taste, which complements the Cascade and Citra hop flavours.

The malt character is restrained but still manages to provide balance with a touch of cereal sweetness. The dry, clean finish leaves us wanting another. Which we would probably not do if we had plans…but hey, if you have No Plans.

473ml can. Pours a clear amber gold with a medium, foamy, long lasting, off-white head that leaves soapy curtains of lace. Mild, sweet aroma of grainy pale malt, tangerine and floral hops. Sweet flavour of biscuity pale malt, tangerine, peach and light piney hops in a dry, mild bitter finish. Light to medium body with an oily texture and average carbonation. Not very tropical or exotic. Meh.
