Pour is a clear gold with a large white head. Aroma is buttery with some oak and alcohol. Flavor is white wine with some oak with a little Belgian creamy saison yeast. This was super flavorful, I kind of wish this was about half of the abv but the abv as it is is well hidden. Superb beer with the casks really making this stellar.

12 oz. bottle, pours a hazy golden orange with a medium white head. Aroma has plenty of saison yeast, some orange and stone fruits, a touch of chardonnay, and light-to-moderate esters. Flavour has plenty of chardonnay and esters; not the most authentic saison yeast expression, but the chardonnay and booze balance out the estery character. The higher-than-average carbonation helps bring it together, but it's still too estery and sweet for me, lacking complexity. Okay.

Bottle - lightly hazy gold - nose is heavy on the Chardonnay, along with some slight funk, pear, honey, light spiciness - medium body - flavor presents more like a Tripel both because of it’s strength and it’s sweetness - the spicy yeast profile has a Tripel/saison hybrid vibe - approach is sweet pear and honey, followed by string spiciness before drying out in the finish, where the wood from the cask and the Chardonnay fruitiness and minerality shine - it’s actually quite tasty - think Anchorage Tide and its Takers.

Bottle from Livonia Liquor. Pours a clearish gold with full 2-3 fingers of creamy off-white foam that lingers. Lovely saison-y, yeast-forward aromas on the nose with clove, oak and aged hops. Palate is similar with light muscat and oak flavors present. Chardonnay notes appear on the finish as it warms with pear, muscat and light citrus notes. Very nice.
