Malty at first taste, with a harmonized flavour and a gentle hop bitterness. It leaves a subtle but noticeable trace of hops in the mouth. It is characterized by its strong bite, thanks to which it refreshes perfectly on every occasion.

0,5L bottle (from Selver). Pours golden with off-white head. The head stays for some time. Aroma is malt, grains and sweetness. Flavor is sweet, bitter, herbal, grainy, watery, and metallic. Finish has some dry bitterness. Overall: not good.

On tap at Parcel Yard King’s Cross. Clear gold lasting white head. It’s a Czech premium lager. Straight up. Does what it says on the tin. Some decent lemon hop on the finish. Aroma is ok. Some czech sweet malt in the mouth. Fine and just ok side of interesting.

Keg at Parcel Yard, Fullers - London. Pours clear, pale yellow with a creamy, white head. The nose has plenty of cereal and grain, biscuits, hay. Light-medium sweet flavor with sugary biscuits, light grassy bitterness, straw, cereal. Light bodied with average carbonation. Moderate sweetness on the finish, more grass and grain, cereal, slight floral notes. Decent lager.

Bottled (backlog, tnx Kim N.). Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is hay, grass, some bready hops with also a bit of malty sweetness to it. Flavour is bready, caramelly, some grass and hay along with mild honeylike sweetness. Quite basic in a way, but still enjoyable.

Bottled. A bit hazy, orange/golden colour with small white head, which disappears completely. strong barley and malt mix in aroma, with some hints of honey. Bready flavour with a bit of hops, honey in finish. Honeyish aftertaste. Mouthdrying. A bit heavy carbonation in my opinion.

Third beer of the day at Green Week in Berlin on 17th Jan 2014 as I drank around the world. 0.3 Litre on-tap within the Czech Republic area at the festival. Usual lager/pils look: golden, clear and bright. White head that didn’t stay long. Crisp refreshing but odourless and almost tasteless in nature: nothing to set it apart from all the other brews in this style really. Pleasant enough, but not enough to make me choose it over any other Czech Pilsner.
