Malty at first taste, with a harmonized flavour and a gentle hop bitterness. It leaves a subtle but noticeable trace of hops in the mouth. It is characterized by its strong bite, thanks to which it refreshes perfectly on every occasion.

Bottle: Pale-malty and herbal-hoppy nose with a buttery touch; deep golden coloured, medium-sized fluffy white head; moderate dry bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied, malty base detectable; dry bitter-sweet finish with a citrussy-hoppy tinge. Dobre pivo......
Earlier Rating: 8/13/2008 Total Score: 2.9
Bottle: Golden, lazy carbonation, mid-sized to bigger creamy and fluffy head; moderate, almost aromatic hoppy nose with a pale-malty background; malty base as usual detectable, moderate to solid dryish bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied; harsh bitter, slightly sourish finish. A bit unharmonic, but all in all a quite good Bohemian Pilsener.......

bottle from Bierzwerg. Clear golden colour, large white head. Grainy-malty nose. Grainy malty bose with anice accents of dry bitter and aromatic hops. The character is not as bitter-sweet as in many Czech lagers, but still nice.

on tap at Louis Armstrong in Praha-Vinohrady. Golden yellow, large and creamy head, hoppy aroma. Quite hoppy with a solid malty base, hints of lemon, quite spritzy. Short finish. Even better from the bottle: pleasant hoppy aroma, full-bodied malty base, slightly sweet and grainy. Very pleasant hoppy flavours dominate. Bitter-sweet character.

50cl bottle (5,0 %). POured clear golden color, thin white head, quickly disappeared. Aroma is weakly of hops. Flavor is hoppy and quite sweet, slightly bitter finish. Nah, although refreshing, too sweet for me.

Bottle bought at a getränkemarkt near Leipzig. The bottle looks simple, but good, the beer in the glass also. Nice head. Starts malty-moldy, a bit grasy-soapy. Finish shows also some spicy notes, still grasy. Quite drinkable. Nice beer!

(Bottle, Café Olympia, Åre, Sweden, 18 March 2009) Golden colour with firm, frothy, white head. Malty, bready nose with notes of hay, toffee and grassy hops. Malty, bready taste with hay, butter, grassy hops and slightly toasty grain. Generous grassy bitterness in the finish. Some malt sweetness throughout. Not exceptional but a decent Bohemian pilsener.

500ml Bottle - Golden in colour with a small white head. Malty and grainy aroma with a faint hint of honey. Lightly hoppy taste with tea and malt followed by a faint grapefruit hint. Not bad.
