First brewed in 2010. A beer brewed according to the original recipe of the 16th century beer masters of Bavaria. The Weiss Damm is a type of beer in which the yeast does not filter (hefe-weissbier), which gives it a cloudy and pale yellow appearance. An aspect that led to it being popularly baptized with the name of "Weissbier", white beer.

330m bottle from Vinmonopolet Bestillingsutvalget. Bubbly white head. Pale yellow body with a wheat haze. Coriander and sweet citrus on the nose. Sweet taste of wheat, banana and spices. Mid-sweet yeast fruity ending. A little watered in the mouth. On par to the style, more or less (Tromsø 24.08.2014).

Super hazy golden coloured body with a rich, three centimetre tall pure white head - amazing. Aroma of wheat, curacao, yeast, bread, lemons and a lot of grass and coriander seed - am I in Barcelona or Munich? Medium-bodied; Very wheatie and yeastie at first with a subdued banana and curacao flavour coupled with some sweet honey and grassy notes. Aftertaste shows a light hay and yeast flavour with a pungent wheat and coriander seed flavour - very nice and great for these warm days here! Overall, a great beer that really was unexpected - nice to sample and a good german hef from here in Spain! I sampled this 33 cL bottle purchased from De Tot al Born in Barcelona, Spain yesterday on 13-April-2014 for €1,15 sampled in my apartment here in Barcelona on 14-April-2014.

Bottle. An unclear, golden-orange beer toppd by a dense, off-white head leaving lacings. Banana and a generic fruityness in the aroma, kept company by some wet cardboard. The flavor is a bit more pleasant, but there’s still some wet cardboard going on. Pale malts, banana and fruityness. Medium body and a pleasant carbonation. Banana finish. Drinkable, but I’d rather have something else. 131004
