Large creamy off white head on a murky reddish brown coloured body.
Sweet berry & malt aroma.
Medium bodied, sharp & dry.
Berry, woody, oak & astringent tastes with a bitter tangy finish.
Nothing like the style but good stuff

0,33 l bottle from Erzengel. Thanks a lot! Cloudy pale copper in the glass, more than one finger stable light tanned foamy head. Taste is pale grainy with floweresque elements. Taste starts with a strong malty toasted bitterness. Some sweetness in the background. Low carbonated. Hidden alcohol. Long lasting aftertaste. Nice.

Trockener, röstig hopfiger Beginn. Geringe Süße, alkoholische Tendenzen, milde Süße, rund, überraschend vollmundig. Spritzig, herb, dunkle Malznoten, trocken karamellig. Gut! 10/11/11/11/9/11

330ml bottle. Cloudy, dark amber colour with average, firm, frothy to creamy, slowly osteoporosing, moderately lacing, white head. Citrusy fruity, hoppy and minimally sugary, caramel and pale malty aroma, hints of lemon tea, peach, some mandarine and orange, minimally toasty, bready overtones. Taste is slightly zesty, bitter, citrusy fruity hoppy and minimally sugary, pale and caramel malty, hints of lemon, grapefruit, orange, orange zest, a minimally mineral touch.
Watery texture, dry palate, medium to fine, mildly prickly carbonation.
Quite bitter, a tad sugary - acceptable.
Thanks H ⭐ P ⭐ G. Great deep roasted beginning. Caramel, burned sugar. Deep roasty, dried plums, roasted grain, viscous. Nice stuff

Clear amber beer with a beige head. Aroma of caramelized dark malt, red malt, pine, resins. Taste of piney bitter hops, caramel, spruce, tobacco, strong body, long bitter finish.

Pours ever so slightly viscous to almost mango-yellow head over fully hazy dark amber beer. Hops, caramel, toffee, flavoured chocolate, whiff of mint, yeast, actively fermenting worts. Rather outspoken bitter flavour, certainly initially and in the aftertaste. Walnutpeel, bit metallic, bittering herbs, resin. Some fruity esters, but not getting past the bitterness/hopoils, and hints @ fusels. Caramel again, but without sweetness, herbal liqueur. Quite well-bodied, rounded, quite well carbonated too, slick to chewy. Surprising - all in the best way. A slightly higher malt bill, and it might pass for a good barley wine. Txs to Stef!
