A pale golden ale. Brilliantly bright and hoppy, brewed with 100% pale malt and the choicest East Kent Golding hops.

Bottle from Terre de Boissons, Calais. Clear paleish gold beer with a thick white head. Aroma of some vegetal lemony citrus hops. It’s a good golden ale. I mean I like it. It has a prickliness to the finish. I mean it’s a Sheps beer that I like. It’s good. It has pale malts definitely that throws me off a bit as Sheps don’t normally do a 100% pale malt ale. And the Cascades are clear in the nose, flavour and finish. The bitterness and lemon curd on the finish are excellent. I mean a Sheps beer I like and that is properly bitter on the finish. I mean properly bitter. Well that’s the best Sheps beer I’ve had in a long time. I’m going to over rate due to the shock I know, but that’s a good beer. I’m already planning on how I get my hands on more. It’s a good beer. Hoppy, drinkable, golden, good lemon curd. I can still taste it. This is a Sheps beer I like. Wow.
