Bottle at home in London - sourced from Ales by Mail. Pours clear gold, effervescent, with a big, frothy white head. The nose holds lightly floral hops, some pithy citrus, grass. Light to medium sweet flavor with pronounced grassy bitterness, some grain, hay, grapefruit, lemon rind. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Finishes with nice rindy citrus bitterness, dry pale malts, strong grassy and lightly earthy bitterness. Pretty nice overall, perhaps just a touch too bitter, though.

Bottle at home, from ABM, 06/07/14. Hazed golden orange with a good sized white head of bubbles. Nose is orange marmalade, straw, bread dough, citric peel, light floral notes, caramel. Taste comprises floral hops, light minerals, bitter orange, touch of grapefruit, honey, pithy citrics, mineral wash. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, sharp citric and earthy hop bitterness in the close. Ok stuff, I’d put this more as an APA than IPA bearing in mind the ABV and hop contents.
