Barrel Aged Blood Moon is a 23’ Mazer Cup medal winner! Amongst my favorite products ever. It’s made with Black Plums, Strawberries and Blackberries. It’s also spent 18 months in an Angel’s Envy Port Bourbon barrel.

The strawberry is a really fun flavor that you don’t expect in mead, adds a nice complexity.

2oz taster. Served by Chad, the owner. Appearance: dark purple. Aroma: sweet and sour with some tannic and honey notes. Taste: whoa, lots of berries with a lot of port and American oak, multi-dimensional. Tannic and a bit astringent.
