70 cL bottle. Pours dark and hazy brown with a small tan head. Aroma is liqourice, roasted malt, chocolate and sligt herbal coffee. Distinct hops fruity and herbal coffee flavoured start followed by a smooth body and filling chocolate flavour. Bitter and coffee herbal finish. Nicely lingering mixed flavoured finish.

Bottle. (#15) Reddish brown pour, leaving a nice, beige head. Fruity and sweet, roasted aroma with caramel and some chocolate notes. Nice fruity and sweet flavor, quite hoppy, finishing with sweetness and a nice spicyness. Full to medium body. A lovely brown ale. I’m growing more and more fond of this brewery, it’s a pity they don’t have a wider distribution. (071013)

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with an orange head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel. The flavor is swet malty with primary notes of caramel, but also a light spicy edge - I pick up hint of coriander.
