On tap at the brewpub. Served with a diminishing, off-white head over a nice, clear, sparkling, golden to amber body. Quite fruity nose, but it is a bit weak. There’s also pine and resin and a malty sweetness there. Hop-fruity flavor, maybe a bit hoppy for an English ale, but it’s sure nice. Pine, resin, citrus are present as well, and there’s a malty background. Pleasant bitterness. It has a medium to full body, and a nice, long, hop-resiny finish with a good bitterness. Sure the present brewer has raised the standards at Møllebyen. And I’m really impressed what he can do with rather low ABV’s. (071007)

Thin white film passes for a head. Chestnut brown body with light carbonation. Sweetish harmonic caramel and resiny hops aroma. Dry sweetish caramelly slightly papery taste with light roasty smoky notes. Slightly watery. Dry papery slightly weak finish. Hoppy notes linger. Definitely a good session ale. (0.5l draft at the brewpub.)
