On tap at the brewpub. Clear, copper body with a minimal off-white head. Hoppy nose, both fruity and piney, at the start, followed by caramel and maltyness. Balanced but weak flavor, maybe a bit on the fruity side, with slightly roasted malt and caramel. Medium body and a fruity finish. As the other beers from Bryggen, it’s quaffable and quite nice, but they tend to be a bit thin and anonymous. (070513)
