Bottle, 75cl corked. (as no 72) Thx to HenrikSoegaard, who cracked this open when I stopped by for a face-to-face trade. (Nice food too, Henrik.) It poured an almost clear, copper body with a diminishing beige head. More unclear towards the bottom of the bottle. Caramel, roasted malt and a little sour touch in the aroma. There’s a tiny sourness in the flavor too, with roasted malt, and a quite high bitterness, at least for a Bøgedal beer. Medium body and a roasted finish. It was not the best beer I’ve had from Bøgedal, but sure drinkable. (080302)

75 cL bottle (as 95). Pours deep amber with a diminished light orange head. Aroma is softly floral and grapefruity hoppy with a mild underlying caramel sweetness. Flavour holds a nice blend between fruity hops and soft sweet caramel malt. Ends with a decent fruity bitterhops and with a light smoke note in the finish.

Bottled. A hazy deep amber beer with a medium tan head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of dusty hops as well as some grass, wood, and oranges. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of over ripe fruit, caramel, grassy and dusty hops, as well as some grapefruit, leading to a dry bitter finish.

(Bottle 75 cl) Hazy, dark golden with a dense, off-white head. Fruity and somewhat caramelish aroma - pineapple I believe. Good, full sweetish and fruity accents and then a distinct bitterness in the finish. Interesting. Courtesy of Myrup. 040307
