Bottled. A deep red beer with a thick brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt and caramel. The flavor is very sweet - too sweet for my liking, with notes of roasted malt and caramel as well as light notes of smoke, leading to a sweet roasted finish.

Bottled 500ml. -Brown coloured, medium sized cappuccino head, slight herbal roasty nose. Mild roasted malt, brown sugar and coffee with notes of cloves and rye bread. Also a way too sweet and syrupy. Short sugary finish. One-dimensional and not so good dunkel.

Draught. Nice roasted aroma, hint of smoke. Very dark brown colour. Stable tan head. The flavour is quite roasted with a creamy hint. Very late coffee aftertaste. Only very little smoke in the flavour. Slightly thin mouthfeel.

Bottle , as piwo klaztorne przpora. Dark ruby colour with a beige head. Aroma is sweet, cola, spices. Flavour is sweet, cola, spices, sugar, cinnamon. Too sweet and too much flavour of Cola.

Bottle, as Piwo Klasztorne Przeora. A clear, dark ruby beer with a small, beige head. Sweetish nose with cola and notes of cloves. Sweet flavor too, still with cola, sugar, ginger and cinnamon. Almost sticky on the palate, with a fine carbonation trying to cleanse the mouth. A strange one, way too sweet, too reminiscent of cola and missing bitterness to give it some balance. Drinkable though, but hardly by numbers. (081229)
