Bottle at Apotekergaarden. brown colour with a beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, caramel, yeast. Flavour is is roasted malt, hop, yeast, caramel, bread. Bitter finish. Medium to thin body. Ordinary beer.

Bottle, 75cl corked. A fluffy, two-finger off-white head sits on top of an unclear dark brown body. Some lacings. Roasted, lightly burnt aroma with a touch of rye bread and dried fruits. Yeast and a faint note of cooked vegetables too. Quite thin on the palate, but considering the ABV it’s perfectly ok. A tad too much carbonation too. Bread, caramel, roasted malts and a sort of balancing bitterness too. Roasted finish, quite dry. Not a favorite of mine, but certainly drinkable and definitely not bad. 130324
