Nice, but it feels more like a black IPA...

On tap at the brewpub. Dark brown colour with a tan head. Aroma is burned, roasted malt, coffee, chocolate. Flavour is burned, roasted malt, coffee, chocolate. Nice beer.

On tap at the brewpub. A very dark brown beer with a creamy beige head of finger thick size. The aroma is roasted and faintly burnt, with quite a lot of coffee. Pleasant flavor too, roasted and with a burnt touch. A nice hoppy bitterness too, and some sweetness and licorice. Full body and soft carbonation. A touch of alcohol warmth as well. Long roasted coffee finish with some dark chocolate. A pretty pleasant one, could easily have this one again. 131124

Pours dark brown with a tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, oat, caramel and floral. Taste is medium sweet and light to medium bitter with a long roasted and chocolate finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
