Draught @ Lost Abbey Pre-Stone Anniversary Brunch, San Marcos, CA
Pours cloudy brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, tart, vinegar, berries and alcohol. Taste is light sweet and medium sour with a long warm, sour and slightly dry finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

On tap at the Lost Abbey pre-party. An unclear brown beer with an orange hue. A small off-white head on top. Vinegar, oak, caramel, prunes, some alcohol and dark berries on the nose. There’s a little alcohol warmth in the mouth, it’s full bodied and with a pleasant carbonation level. Dried fruits, caramel, berries, vinegar, lemon and alcohol in the flavor, all mellow and well integrated. Tart finish. Can’t see whythis shouldn’t be legal. 130817
