Pours dark brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, citrus, grape, applies and hint of chocolate. Taste is light to medium sweet and medium bitter with an average roasted and light bitter finish. Body is light to medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

On tap at the taproom. Dark brown in color, almost clear, with a beige head. Pleasant piney aroma with roasted malts and some dark chocolate. Dark chocolate and some pin cones and bitterness in the flavor. Full body with nice carbonation, quite dry. Long finish. Overall, too much chocolate for the style, but nice. 130814
