Draught @ Beachwood BBQ, Long Beach, CA
Pours clear deep golden with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, yeast, dried fruits and banana. Taste is medium to heavy sweet and light bitter with a long warm, yeasty, fruity and banana finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

On tap at the brewpub. Clear golden in golden color, a white head resting on top. Belgian fruity aroma with canned tropical fruits, and some sugary, alcoholic notes. It’s full bodied and lightly warming, very soft carbonation. Sugary, tropical fruits, some bitterness and yellow apples in the flavor. Sweet fruity finish in a Belgian way. I think it’s a pretty nice one, but a tad sweet maybe. 130813

On tap at the source. Pours with a crystal clear golden hue with a large and lasting white head that leaves good lace. Aromas show mild esters, and alcohol, medium phenol, dry stone fruit, delicate malt, lightly herbal and spicy hop notes. Flavors are clean, medium alcohol, apple and pear esters. Finishes dry but has a touch of sweet and bready malt on the mid palate. Light stone fruit and mild white pepper. Very clean, balancing bitter that lingers a touch. Creamy, dry and warming with lively bubbles. Pretty much textbook.
