Pours cloudy dark brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of mal,t toffee, dried fruits, oak, alcohol, cinnamon and raisin. Taste is medium to heavy sweet and light to medium bitter with a long, oak, toffee and fruity finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

On tap at the Brea location. A murky brown beer with a minimal sized light beige head. The aroma has lots of hoppy scents, leather, msome alcohol, roasted hints and lots of oak. Too oaked I think. Bitter flavor with some caramel, vanilla, coffee hints and oak. Full body, warming and with a nice carbonation. Lasting finish. Overall, nice, but too woody. 130812
